Wow! The MDC Fam had so much fun this past week at our first ever Dance-a-Thon. It was a night full of energy, positivity, and fun!
Some of our younger dancers especially enjoyed the amazing face painting done by Five Little Monkeys Face Painting.
Our Dance-a-Thon started with our minis who were INCREDIBLE and ended up dancing the whole 15 minutes of their time and were having so much fun they kept dancing all night long!
Our juniors and teens then took the floor and it was amazing to see their creativity and team spirit show in their dance moves. Everybody was having such a blast and it was heartwarming to see everyone working together and encouraging each other no matter their age, ability, or team. At MDC we always say we are one big family and this was such a great example of that. Seniors were dancing with minis , minis with juniors and so on and so forth.Even some of our dancer’s grandparents were joining in the fun!
The Dance-a-Thon was a huge success and has brought our dancers one step closer to New York City in July 2018. We thank everyone who came out to our Dance-a-Thon for their support. We have some more exciting fundraisers coming up in the coming weeks including grocery bagging at Sobeys and a Facebook auction.
